This owl is hand formed using Sussex Clay before being painted (using a mixture of underglazes) and fired. Varying colours are applied to the front and sides, leaving the rear partially unglazed so the natural quality of the clay can be appreciated. I have also added some flecks of melted sea glass around the eyes which I found in my local beach.
You can also hang the owl as decoration (inside or out).
I have hung the owl on recycled sterling silver and hemp (left loose for you to tie at your preferred length).
Comfortable to wear (if worn as a necklace) and completely unique. It will arrive in a smart recycled gift box tied with natural nettle string.
